Blooming in Chaos
24” x 48” Acrylic
on 1.5” gallery wrapped canvas
Covid 19 seemed to hold the world under siege. These were difficult times in which we all lived and seemingly grew in unexpected ways.
It was the insignificant things and events that held a new weight of meaning and value. For me “Blooming in Chaos” represents that for me.
One simple flower, standing in a vase during a time of tragedy and uncertainty. The seemingly chaotic use of pattern and color intuitively placed; the feelings of the world during this time. The enormous soft pastel flower in full bloom picturing growth that came in search for hope.
