Petal Poetry
18” x 24” Acrylic on canvas [Frame NOT included]
This lively composition of flowers grew from the poetry of my favorite brush, the Rigger. The Dahlias and the Zinnia are the subject of the poem in the setting of a simple glass vase. The Rigger is a thin, slender, inch and a half brush that allows for no control in drawing a flower, or anything else beside slender blades of grass. As you follow my work, you will often see evidence of this brush concept.
