This is an actual wetland we have visited for years. It has been the source of many paintings for me. My husband loves to fish here and though I don’t have appreciation and patience for fishing, I take my watercolor paints and begin the process of a painting while sitting in the open air! Every time I do, I see a ready subject! It is a sanctuary for wildlife and for us as well.
